I stickled up her wings to make them glitzy. I complimented my card with a few fabric flowers. I attached her to a sheet of cardstock.

PDE LINKY Party, Anything Goes: Pig Tear Bear Card

Welcome to Leinzlove Tear Bears!

It's time for this weeks challenge over at PDE LINKY PARTY.

For my first challenge I created this any occasion or not card.

I got the pig from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. I uploaded the svg cutting file into Cricut Design Space.  I cut out the pattern for my tear bear with my Cricut Explore.

I traced all of my pieces into the back of thick pink mulberry paper. I proceeded to tare each piece out and assembled them in layers with Fabri-Tac. I took a wire brush and bushed around the edges. (With my mulberry paper pieces upside down.)

This is how I gave my pig its fluffy, furry look making him a tear bear. I chalked all of the pieces using Colorbox Cats eye chalk in Pink Sky. His hooves were chalked in chesnut roan and his spots in charcoal.

I used white colorbox and gel pens to create his eyes and other details. I finished my pig by brushing him with a soft brush.

I chose a super cute background using my favorite Doodlebug Design cardstock. I chose a fun sentiment and made it with my Cricut Explore using the print and cut feature.

Thanks for your visit.

Play along with us at the

New challenge every Friday!

Pumpkin Tear Bear Card

I made the card base in Cricut Design Space and cut it out with my Cricut Explore. It was super easy.

I took a square from basic shapes and made it 4x4.5, I then copied and pasted, so I'd have another identical square. I overlapped them a little and welded to make it all one large rectangle. I then brought in a score line, also from basic shapes. Added it in the center and pressed attatched and then cut. I used Recollections craft cardstock for my base.

I then made a 4x4.5 square and a small 1 1/2 x4 rectangle. I cut these out with two different patterned cardstock papers from Doodlebug Design.

I then used Basic Cricut Fonts and made my title in Design Space. I used my black cricut pen in my Cricut Explore pen holder and then cut it out.

I chalked all of this with Colorbox Chalk in Burnt Sienna. And then I glued it all down to my base saving room for my pumpkin tear bear. I added a super cute pop up sticker, also from Doodlebug Design and the perfect match for my Doodlebug Pumpkin Paper.

I found the pattern for my tear bear at Kadoodle Bug Designs. I just can get enough of the cute KBD patterns. I uploaded the pattern to Cricut Design Space and cut it out with my Cricut Explore.

I took this pattern and used a tracing tool to trace it all in the back of thick 150+gsm Orange Mulberry Paper. I then took my scissors and cut out each piece leaving about 1/4 inches around my trace marks to tare out my pieces.

I hand tore out each piece and then flipped the pieces face down and took a wire brush to them. Making sure it was all dry I chalked all edges in Colorbox Chalk Burnt Sienna.

I then assembled my bear using Fabri Tac, which is my go to glue. I did the face and added the pumpkin face to its body. I brushed it all again with a soft brush and attatched to the card.

LSHD Sketch Challenge Panda Bear 8x8 layout

Ok so this is a card sketch challenge, but I made it a 8x8 framed print or a layout page without pictures. The sketch is going on until April 14, so come play along...

I used the Cricut Explore and basic shapes to design the whole layout in design space. I cut out my Panda Bear and then made him TEAR BEAR with the finest handcrafted mulberry paper. He is from a Little Scraps of Heaven Designs pattern as well.

I layered my flowers and they came from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs "Spring Penguin." I added a few gems to give it more 3D definition.

This was so much fun to make and turned out super cute. I don't know if he'll be available for sale yet or not. But, its a super fine piece of art.

LSHD Happy Birthday Cuddly Bear Card

I'm sharing this Birthday Card I made today. I got the cute little bear from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. I only wish I would've tried it sooner. It's so cute!

The card part was made with a pattern from cricut. I just typed in card and bought one. I was itching to use the new score tool I just purchased. There is something wrong with the alignment that I need to look into. I just trimmed excess off with scissors.

I then went on to mess up the bottom chalk job, so I just cut more of the card making it smaller.

The tweaks we make. :)
